Journey through infertility is challenging but one of the most important decisions you can make is choosing your doctor and clinic. As a physician and patient, I chose Loma Linda Fertility because it was an academic center. I felt the decisions would be evidence based and not driven by financial incentives. Also I saw that Dr. Bareh was Cleveland Clinic trained and had great reviews. Instead of seeing multiple providers at different locations, I appreciated that she was the sole physician guiding my care. She is warm, caring and so dedicated toward your success. I personally struggled with PCOS and poor egg quality. She completely changed my regimen which resulted in better quality, more genetically normal embryos that ultimately led to us being pregnant with our first baby. Words cannot express our gratitude for her tireless dedication and care. The staff are also warm, professional, and responsive to questions whether by phone or via online portal. I highly recommend Dr. Bareh and Loma Linda Fertility without reservation.

Dr. Bareh is fantastic. The IVF journey is very hard, but with how amazing Dr. Bareh and all of the staff (nurses, front desk) are, our journey has been a lot easier to go through. Dr. Bareh has one goal and it’s the same as for all of her patients, to get you your baby. Whenever we needed questions answered we got a response within 24 hrs or sooner on most occasions. Dr. Bareh and her team of nurses helped make my dream of having a baby come true! I am over 40, and most doctors dismissed me. Dr Bareh welcomed me and let me do an IVF cycle retrieving my own eggs. Unfortunately that didn’t work, so we moved on to donor eggs. We secured a donor and were able to get several embryos. After a few canceled cycles (due to some cysts and other issues) we transferred our best embryo in August 2021. In May 2022 our beautiful daughter was born! Throughout the whole process, Dr. Bareh was positive, upfront, patient, answered all questions, or had nurses contact me. I am so thankful that this clinic exists, because I don’t think I would have my daughter otherwise!

Dr. Bareh has been so great throughout my infertility process. You can tell she really is passionate and cares about what she does. She always takes the time to answer all my questions and provides solutions to any of my issues. Her staff also has been so amazing. Literally every single one of them. Dr. Bareh and her staff are AMAZING! From Adriana at the front desk who always greets you by name, to the phlebotomist on site, to the financial coordinator, the embryologist, and especially the nurses! Every single one of them make you feel at ease and feel like family. The nurses always take their time answering questions and making you feel comfortable! As far as Dr. Bareh she is a rock star, she can have a waiting room full of patients, yet you hardly are ever waiting past your appointment time! My husband and I embarked on a rollercoaster of emotions and setbacks when faced with the challenges of infertility. Our gratitude knows no bounds as we are 24 weeks with a healthy baby boy due in March. This lifelong dream would never be possible without Dr. Bareh and the LLU IVF Team. Dr. Bareh and her staff are amazing at what they do. After 2 miscarriages, heartbreaks, finally we welcomed our firstborn in December 2022. I still remember the time when I used to sit and cry at Dr. Bareh’s office and how she always reassured me that one day I will be a mother, and after 3 years that dream came true. As we told her too, haven’t seen god but for us she is the one. We are holding our son because of her. Her whole team is just amazing, very helpful, compassionate. We came to Dr. Bareh after working with another fertility specialist who was not the best with her interactions with us. Previous provider made us feel like we were bothering her and even clinic staff was so unwelcoming. Husband and I did not receive that type of treatment from Dr. Bareh and her team. True, there is a wait to be seen by her but once you have an appointment set up you can expect genuine, capable care. Nurse Angie and staff were very warm in their approach especially in interacting with couples/patients in a tough situation. Dr. Bareh and her staff helped us make our dream into a reality. We just welcomed our rainbow baby after years of unexplained fertility. Dr. Bareh’s staff were very prompt in responding to my question via MyChart and they were very supportive. I came to Dr. Bareh after having a bad experience with another fertility clinic. The other clinic did did not take the time to ensure things were being done correctly, and I had a failed transfer with them after they transferred an embryo without ultrasound. After this experience, I was fed up and desperate to find a knowledgeable and efficient doctor. I did several consultations when searching for a new clinic and chose Dr. Bareh because I could tell from the very first call that she was extremely knowledgeable. She made sure everything was done properly so that I had the best chance possible to get pregnant. I ended up getting pregnant with my first transfer with her. The doctor at the clinic, Dr Bareh, is great. I went to another fertility clinic first before coming to Loma Linda, and they were not thorough and did not ensure they were doing things properly. They ended up wasting one of my embryos because they did not use ultrasound when they transferred it. I finally got fed up and changed clinics and that is when I found Dr Bareh. She made sure she was doing everything thoroughly and correctly to give me the best chance possible to get pregnant. She is very knowledgeable and is very good at what she does. I got pregnant with the first transfer under her care. I definitely recommend her to anyone who is trying to get pregnant.

Dr. Bareh is such a terrific doctor. She is patient and understanding and made us feel like we were heard and not simply another number. She answered all our questions. Dr. Bareh is such a great, informed doctor and is well worth it. Our first appointment with her was in 2016, then she was extremely thorough with her diagnosis for us which was an IUI. She provided us with options of what we wanted to continue ahead with. In 2016, we had a successful pregnancy with our second daughter who is now 4 and we are back with another successful IUI pregnancy at 12 weeks now. We are incredibly appreciative of Dr. Bareh. Dr. Bareh and her staff are amazing. Coming from Kaiser, it was a breath of fresh air to be in a smaller setting where they get to know you, celebrate and grieve with you. Each challenge she encounters, she attacks head on, and trust me, my case had a few of them! The phrase “give up” is not in her vocabulary. She will find a solution. Now about Dr. Bareh’s staff … some of the best people you will ever know. My husband and I have been on a very long road trying to get pregnant. We first saw Dr. Bareh in the beginning of 2019 and were given the diagnosis of unexplained infertility. So we started out with IUIs which weren’t successful. We finally became aggressive about it in the fall of 2020 with one egg retrieval and decided to do one more egg retrieval in spring of 2021 in order to hopefully get more eggs. Even though we didn’t get as many eggs as we wanted, we decided to move forward with a transfer cycle. My husband and I then decided to make a lot of lifestyle changes (acupuncture, minimal dairy, no gluten, walks daily, etc.) and we had our second frozen transfer in October 2021 and are finally pregnant! The entire staff also roots for you and is there to answer any questions you might have and cheerfully accepts your third call of the day to clarify medication questions. I have gotten to know nurses Monica, Julie, Angie and Melinda and they are all wonderful. The embryologist at their office is also amazing as well as the front office staff. I know how hard Dr. Bareh must work because she is the only doctor at the office, but she never acts rushed with you or as if there are more important things to get to. I know it might seem odd to feel sad about finally being able to leave the Center for Fertility but I genuinely will miss seeing everyone there.

My husband and I went in for a consultation with Dr. Bareh in early 2020. By this point we had already had five chemical pregnancies and one miscarriage at 13 weeks. The day that we met her we knew she was going to be our doctor. She paid very close attention to our fertility history and explained our options in great detail. When I first saw Dr. Bareh in 2019, I was stubborn and not ready for the recommendation that was given. We had known MFI, so I went to my first appointment with the mindset of maybe trialing some medications and possibly IUI, but thats it. I’ve said multiple times that I’d never do IVF. How things change when IVF is your only option. We transferred on 9/13 and I’m happy to report it was a first time success! I was prepared to do multiple transfers. But thank God and thank Dr. Bareh and her expertise alongside her amazing staff. I followed Dr. Bareh’s and Angie’s instructions EXACTLY. I didn’t take a medication 1 minute early or 1 minute late. Every post transfer instruction I followed specifically and literally and it was all worth it.

My husband and I are beyond thankful for Dr. Bareh. She is a wonderful, caring and kind doctor. Dr. Bareh is a blessing from God and no words are enough to express our appreciation. We thought it would never happen. Dr. Bareh helped us conceive after a year and a half of trying. I had my first child at 38 years of age with no problems, but after 39, it was a little harder. With help from Dr. Bareh, we tried 4 months of timed intercourse and Clomid, but no luck. After turning 41 years old, the first IUI we tried worked. Dr. Bareh is amazing! My husband and I had been married for 3 years at the time we were introduced to her. We wanted a baby right after marriage but month after month we were disappointed. We thought it would just happen naturally but after 6 months went by, we started to worry. Dr. Bareh is the most compassionate and most knowledgeable physician. My wife and I struggle with infertility. We went to another clinic on Newport and failed IVF there. I wish we had gone to Dr. Bareh and her team first. My husband and I would definitely recommend this fertility clinic to anyone wanting to have baby, and we’re fortunate enough to have Dr. Bareh taking care of us. From the initial visit, Dr. Bareh was very thorough in taking our history and asking us in detail what we would want for our future plan. After each visit and each lab, she would personally call and follow up with me, suggesting treatments that we should take. Because Dr. Bareh is an endocrinologist and obstetrician/gynecologist, she knew exactly what we would need to have a baby.

After just three visits, we’re lucky enough to have a positive pregnancy test, and we followed up with Dr. Bareh until the tenth week of pregnancy before switching over to our regular OB/GYN. My regular insurance is through another major company, and we had to pay out of pocket for our treatment. My wife and I cannot be happier that we chose Loma Linda University Center for Fertility.

Dr. Bareh along with her nurses, Angie and Rachel, are amazing. Dr. Bareh is very patient and took all the time necessary to answer any and all of our questions every single visit. She has a very patient and calm energy that comes through every interaction that we had with her. No matter how many people were in the waiting room we always felt that we were her only concern during our appointments. Dr. Bareh and her nurses patiently walked us through every single step in our fertility journey. We never felt like we were lost. We never felt like we were being ignored. Dr. Jacobson’s bedside manner was amazing, and he was very sympathetic to our questions and concerns. He didn’t candy-coat things for us, but he didn’t say it harshly either. This process is emotionally draining, but Dr. Bareh and the team of nurses made this process comfortable and encouraging. I have had a very good experience here. Deanna at the front desk always checks me in with a smile, answers my calls and gets me the appointments I need. My work up with Dr. Bareh was scheduled quickly as were all my follow ups. I never waited long in the office and she always answered all my questions … as crazy or repetitive as they may have been.

Being a fertility patient is hard, so having questions and getting answers is important. She has a kind nature. She even requested I bring our baby in once it’s born because it’s rewarding to see the result of our time with her. I am not an IVF patient. My husband and I have been dealing with infertility for 5 years. We have had 2 failed pregnancies and 8 failed IUI attempts at Kaiser before we were recommended to LLUFC for IVF treatment. I found Dr. Bareh through a common friend who said nothing but great things about her. So I took a leap of faith. Now seeing a fertility doctor is scary, I didn’t know what to expect. Infertility is such a taboo subject, and I almost feel ashamed going. So stepping into the office, I honestly already felt defeated. Like I would never get pregnant, I wasn’t meant to be a mom.

The moment I met Dr. Bareh she was seriously like a ray of sunshine. Such good bedside manners. To start off… I am an employee of LLU and therefore many of my doctors are LLU doctors. I’m rarely disappointed in the care I receive and feel very fortunate to have such wonderful caring medical professionals in my community.

I noticed all of the bad reviews were before Dr. Gihan Bareh came on board to this clinic. She has been the doctor for my husband and I. My OBGYN who I adore, recommended her and I trust my OBGYN’s opinion very much. Needless to say, I have been SO impressed with this clinic. Everything has been streamlined and easy (well, as easy at IVF can be) and we were met with such compassionate care. The front desk is efficient, and all the nurses are so caring and helpful. We have been taken care of every step of the way, 110%! Dr. Bareh has wonderful bedside manner, she truly cares and is thorough. Once our “plan” was in place, the financial person sat us down, went over line by line what our insurance was going to cover, and highlighted what each visit’s co-payment was going to be, as well as other out-of-pocket, plus her estimate on what the pharmacist’s portion would be.

Every visit, we were asked if we had questions, were encouraged to call as often as we needed to, and given instructions on how to administer meds, take care of myself, etc. We even had to put off our cycle by one month, and they gave us no grief whatsoever. My husband and I see Dr. Bareh, who just started here earlier this year. She has lots of qualifications, including an MD and a PhD, but she also has a very good bedside manner and really cares about her patients. She is patient and good at explaining medical issues. Love her!

Went to see Dr. Jacobson for infertility issues. I was his patient for a year and a half. He is wonderful, very kind, and patient. He was realistic and helped my husband and I through very hard ups and downs of 4 failed IUIs. I would strongly recommend the fertility clinic at LLU and any of the doctors there. The nurses were awesome as well.
