Some women may consider having a baby even when they have had fallopian tube removal. Romper.com cited our story about Dr. Shanna Newbold‘s pregnancy with us as an example of success without fallopian tubes.

The Romper story said, in general, women who have had their fallopian tubes removed will not conceive a baby without medical intervention. “According to the Loma Linda University Center for Fertility & IVF, in-vitro fertilization (IVF) is the only way for a woman to become pregnant after losing both of her fallopian tubes.”
