Loma Linda, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2016) – Loma Linda University Center for Fertility & IVF has added a sixth doctor, reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Albert Kaimin Wei. Dr. Wei, who has worked for the Center for Fertility in the past, was most recently working at the University of California, Davis.
“I’m very happy to return to Loma Linda and help patients in the Inland Empire achieve their pregnancy goals,” said Dr. Wei. “Loma Linda’s approach to treatment is personalized and based on building relationships and trust.”
Dr. Wei speaks Mandarin and works with the LLU Center for Fertility’s China Concierge program. He will focus on fertility treatments such IVF, Mini-IVF, surgery to treat endometriosis, fibroids and general PCOS cases, as well as those specifically related to obesity. His research areas include adhesions prevention and trophoblast cell functions.
After completing medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Dr. Wei went on to finish his residency at Loma Linda University and reproductive endocrinology fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit. He also completed a Ph.D. in physiology from Indiana University before medical school. After completing infertility training in 1997, he worked at Medical College of Ohio and University of California, Davis. He has extensive experience with infertility problems and provides individualized treatment for patients.
