How Much Does IVF Cost?
IVF pricing at LLU Center for Fertility
The cost of in vitro fertilization (IVF) will vary from clinic to clinic based on the treatment plan recommended for you, as well as the fee structure of the clinic. Some patients are fortunate to have some or even all of their IVF treatment covered under their health care benefits. If you have insurance covering fertility treatment, we’ll do our best to help you understand and maximize your benefits.
The majority of patients, however, are faced with a large out of pocket expense, the amount of which will depend on your treatment variables. If you are entirely responsible for the expenses incurred, please keep in mind the additional charges associated with optimizing your chance for a successful pregnancy following IVF.
Medication costs
Medications to control your cycle and stimulate development of the ovarian follicles represent a significant proportion of the cost for your IVF cycle.
For example, patients with low ovarian reserve will generally pay more for their medications than patients diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Higher doses of medications administered over a longer period of time may be required to stimulate a patient with low ovarian reserve, whereas patients with PCOS may be prescribed a lower dose hormonal regimen. Charges for medications are paid directly to the pharmacy.
Additional costs for IVF technical services
Adjunct laboratory technical services, such as ICSI, assisted hatching, egg or embryo vitrification and comprehensive chromosome screening of your embryos will also increase the cost of your treatment. If you require PDG in addition to comprehensive chromosome screening (CSS) your costs will further increase.
The overall cost of your IVF treatment may seem overwhelming, but each laboratory service is necessary in many cases to ensure a healthy pregnancy and baby.

Low-cost IVF & price matching program
The LLU Center for Fertility aims to offer competitive, low-cost IVF to our patients. We realize the cost of IVF is a big financial decision and patients often want to compare prices from other clinics.
That’s why we developed an IVF price-matching plan for patients who have received a written price agreement from another fertility center. The Price Match Program includes one, two or three cycle bundles. In order to qualify for price matching, please bring or send us the charge agreement from the other center so we can verify details of the offer. Once we understand precisely which services have been included in your offer, the LLU Center for Fertility will match the competitor’s price.
Don’t be surprised if we are able to offer you an even lower price than the other center. Our standard discount package is frequently lower than competitors’ pricing. If this is the case, the savings are all yours!
We retain the right to withdraw the offer if any misrepresentation is discovered. Egg donation or gestational surrogacy cycles and money back or refund offers are excluded in LLU Center for Fertility’s Price Match Program.
Register for our patient portal, MyLLHealth, before your initial consultation and you’ll receive a $100 discount on your appointment costs (for self-pay patients only; discount does not apply to patients covered by insurance). Patient portal benefits include less paperwork time and secure communications with your doctor.
